Protecting Our Harbor
Our Village’s topography often sends stormwater forcefully from surrounding hills to the harbor, damaging streets and carrying debris into the bay. We will continue the work with Mayor Utevsky’s Infrastructure Planning Committee and Highway Department to improve stormwater management, coordinate regional solutions, and secure outside funding to reduce costs for residents—while safely expanding public access to the harbor.
Strengthening Our Village
As our Village approaches its Centennial, we will strengthen our finances by securing third‑party funding and addressing storm‑related damage to Harbor Road, the mill pond, and Village roadways impacted by runoff and shifting traffic patterns. We will modernize Village code to meet current needs and continue strong support for our Police Department and Code Enforcement to ensure safety for residents and visitors alike.
Planning Our Future
We are preparing our Village for the next 100 years by repairing Harbor Road, restoring the Mill Pond as a natural eastern gateway, and improving roads and stormwater infrastructure for safer streets and a cleaner harbor. We will expand resident access to the harbor, modernize Village code, and secure third‑party funding to strengthen our finances—keeping Head of the Harbor safe, sustainable, and vibrant.
